STAR Program

[Safe-Trap-Alter-Return]

While our goal is to help where help is needed, our primary focus is to help with feral and stray cats to reduce populations in the only humane way available: safe trapping, altering, and returning (STAR). Included in this program is keeping the cats healthy via vaccinations at time of fixing, treating any observable health conditions possible, maintaining colonies with feeders and watchers to continue fixing new arrivals, relocating those in unsafe conditions, and re-homing those that are truly friendly. We like to think of those we help as Super STARS and those that help us (the volunteers) as Rock STARS.
